Aunt Jackie is doing good, that is sweet to hear. Can you give me her email, i would like to write her and say hi.
Most people here don't know about Utah so what i tell them is we are next door to vegas and they all say wow thats so awesome.
Tell Jackie and Sam that i say hi.

.......

So on my side i am doing very well. Transfers are here again and i am getting a new companion, i will tell you more about him next week when i know more about him. A lot of missionaries here in Durban got sent to Swaziland.
The work is going very well. We have a lot still to do, we are really pushing this branch to grow and to get more Melchezedek Priesthood holders.
I look forward to the next transfer and it should be filled with success. ( a lot of planting seeds as well)
I hope everyone back home is doing good, i miss you and love you all so much.
Take care.

Yebo Fam

Sweet! Ya i hope to get workin on a package to send to you all, i will let you know when i get it sent off.
On our side we also got a ton of rain last week. 4 days straight it rained, good thing we have a car :)
Thats sweet, i hope they all enjoyed the race.
I'll try to write more letters, i guess technology is just making me lazy haha.
So just send a black one, his name is Mfundo Malinga, he baptized his cousin a week ago and yesterday she was confirmed. Mfundo wants to go on mission but he is nervous. We will see if he goes.

This week went pretty nice. We had the 2 confirmations. Also this week we went on splits with the Ap's (assistants to president) and we also went on exchanges with the district leader. This week went by fast and it was a nice week. Even with the 4 days of rain.
For today, we got the car cleaned and we are going to the beach with the whole Durban Zone so it should be kool. I hope to get some nice pics of Durban to show you all, cuz it is very hard to say what Durban is like.
All is going well on my side. I hope the family is doing good.
I miss you all so much. I love the work, it is going well here. We still have a lot of work ahead of us here in Kwa-Mashu. Also this week, we are going to have transfer calls, so i will let you know if i will get a new companion or not.
Take care.
Much love.

July 25,2011

On July 24 Sunday we had 2 Baptisms!!! The other elders in the district also had some baptisms so 6 people were baptized and the service was awesome! The work is going good, now we have to start pretty much all over and find new people and invite them to come unto Christ.

The BBQ (braai) went well, that is good. Thats kool, the tradition is still alive for the 24th parade. :)
Things here are pretty nice, not too cold. Well for me anyway, everyone else here is cold. Today its been raining all day and we were supposed to go to the beach, but i don't think its gonna happen.
Bombing in Norway, eish. We never hear Norway in the news.
The apartment, is ok. I cleaned it very nicely today. The kitchen is very small, thats really the only bad thing. We live in like a back house kinda thingy. The lady in the main house (landlord) is Hindu and she makes very spicy food.
Ya im learning a lot of Zulu, im still teaching Zulu people. Im the only white guy so im pretty popular. The people here are starting to know me, like the members and stuff.

Things here are good. I can't complain at all. I am truly being blessed. However Elder Ward a couple missionary in Newcastle one of my old areas he is in the hospital. I don't know what happened, but they say he is gonna have to go to Joburg. As missionaries we are gonna fast for him.
Mission is going great, i truly am learning a lot from everyday experiences.
No problems here in Africa.
Take care.

The work is going well, we need to find some more people to work with and it is coming nicely. Ok one that missionary was dumb, two i haven't even seen a lion yet. I hope to see one, we will just have to see.

WE HAD A BAPTISM!!!! Ya!! Yesterday July 10 2011 Bro. Msize Mchunu was baptized by my companion, and man it was AWESOME!!

Alaska? Eish thats pretty sweet. I bet they are having fun there. Its always fun having the lil kids over as well. I bet it reminds you of when you were raising me. :)

So this week was sorta tough, our numbers were not very nice, even though we did get a baptism. My comp is having a hard time, and so he hasn't been really wanting to work. I hope this week though i can help him and we can have a powerful week.
All is going well, i know how to get around Durban a lil better so that is nice.
I hope the family is doing well, i have to run now we have a busy P-day a head of us we have to travel and pick up some stuff.

Cj is now married, eish that is so sweet. Im glad to hear that the wedding went well.
I can't wait to see this lil logan guy and also craigs lil girl.

Nothing exciting really this week. Um we have what we call the Traveling Zone Leaders which is just 2 elders who go around the whole mission and see how all the areas are going. So on Saturday they came with us. And i learned that one of em was my trainer Elder Armstrong, so i was able to see him again. He goes home in 5 weeks. We are going to lose a lot of powerful missionaries, soon.
On Sunday we had a baptismal interview for one of our investigators and he passed and is ready to be baptized next Sunday on the 10th!! I am very excited about that.
My watch battery died, but i think next week i will be able to just get it replaced and it is pretty cheap to so thats pretty sweet.
Thats all that is going on in Durban. The work is going well, im feeling well. I have been blessed that i haven't been through any crazy events or anything weird like that.
I can't believe that im going to turn 1 year on mission this week. Man time flys.
I hope the fam is good. I miss them all so much.
Take care.
I love you.

Wow dad ran the 5k, eish. That is so sweet. When i come home we will have to do a 10k together! Free at RMR, that sounds like a pretty good deal.
So we are going to try another Turkey center, um we will see how this one does i guess.
What movie did you see? I saw an advert for transformers 3 eish that seems crazy kool haha. I hope you all are writing down movies i need to watch when i get home. I have dave and cody writing down new music stuff for me.
Sorry to hear about the van again, eish that thing is sure a tough trooper.
I got the package, man i was so excited i wanted to eat everything that same night. My comp has never hear about pop tarts so i let him have some and he loved it. South Africa needs pop tarts haha. Thank you so much for the package.
So on the contacts, im ok right now, so just send them the next time you want to send a package.
It sounds like the mndeni (family) is doing fine.

On my side, we had a good week. We had a wonderful sacrament meeting. We have a brother who is going on mission this Thursday to Kenya. His name is Siya Mkhungo, so his whole family came to his farewell and the chapel was packed full.
We have some baptisms coming in July so im pretty excited. I can't believe im turning 1 year on mission soon, eish time is flying by crazy fast.
We got transfer news last night, no changes in our District except for one elder and also we got a new District leader and also a greeny will be coming to out District.
All is going well her in Durban. I miss you all so much.
I hope everyone is enjoying life. Take care. Remember you have more then most of these people dream of.
